Wasabi Wallet

Migration required

Wasabi does not provide a loose legacy-WIF import workflow. Generate a Wasabi receive address and sweep the vanity key to it with Electrum.

Create a Wasabi receive address
Open a backed-up Wasabi wallet, choose Receive, add a label, and generate a destination address.

Verify the destination
Copy the complete address and compare its beginning and ending characters before continuing.

Sweep with Electrum
In a seed-backed Electrum wallet choose Wallet → Private Keys → Sweep, paste the WIF, and use the verified Wasabi address as the destination.

After the transfer

Confirm that the destination wallet shows the transaction and can generate a new receive address.
Do not send additional funds to the vanity address after sweeping it.
Keep the destination wallet seed backup offline. Do not retain screenshots or clipboard history containing the WIF.
For a direct import, send the full balance to a fresh seed-backed wallet when practical.
